Privacy Policy
Burg Onderdelen handles your data with care. We only process what we need to fulfill your order and answer your questions. We never sell your data. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure and improve our advertisements, but only if you give permission for this via the cookie banner.
This privacy policy applies to our website burgonderdelen.nl and everything related to it. The previous version becomes invalid upon the publication of a new version.

You never have to fill in more than what we need. If you do not fill in a field and we need it to deliver, we will contact you.
With whom we share your data
We only share your data with parties we need to process your order. Agreements have been made with these parties regarding the handling of your data. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

If you consent to statistics and marketing cookies, Google Ireland Limited processes data about your visit via Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager. This concerns technical and behavioral data such as your IP address, the pages you view, and what you place in your shopping cart. In addition, our order data is automatically sent to a Google Spreadsheet that we use for our own administration.
Furthermore, we only provide your data to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so, for example to the Tax and Customs Administration or to the police and judicial authorities based on a valid request.
Processing outside the European Union
We choose, as much as possible, parties that process your data within the European Economic Area. If this does occur outside of it, it is only permitted with the legally prescribed safeguards. Google, Cloudflare, OpenAI, and Anthropic may also process data in the United States. This is done on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has determined that the protection is equivalent, or on the basis of the standard contractual clauses drawn up by the European Commission for this purpose.
How long we retain your data
- Order and invoice details: 7 years, because the Tax Authorities prescribe it.
- Your account in the webshop: as long as you keep the account. You can always have it deleted.
- Email and contact forms: for as long as necessary to handle your query, and thereafter for a limited period for any follow-up questions or warranty issues.
- Technical log files: a short period, for security and fault investigation.
Security
The website operates entirely over a secure connection. Access to orders and customer data is restricted to those who need access for their work, using personal accounts and strong passwords. Do you suspect that something is wrong with the security? Let us know via info@burgonderdelen.nl.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies. We divide them into three types.
Necessary cookies ensure that the webshop works: remembering your shopping cart, keeping you logged in, saving your language choice, securing the site against abuse, and remembering your cookie choice. We always place these; no permission is required for this, and you cannot disable them.
We use statistics cookies to see how many people visit our site, which pages they view, and where they get stuck. For this purpose, we use Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager.
We use marketing cookies to measure which advertisements lead to an order and to show you our advertisements on other websites. We use Google Ads for this purpose.
We only place statistics and marketing cookies after you have given your consent in the cookie banner. If you do not give consent, or if you refuse, these cookies will not be placed and your browsing behavior will not be linked to you. In that case, Google only receives an anonymous signal without cookies, from which it is impossible to trace who you are.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on our forms. It does not place cookies.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Manage consent button at the bottom of the site. A complete overview of all cookies, who places them, and how long they remain can be found in our cookie policy at burgonderdelen.nl/cookiebeleid-eu. If you wish to remove all cookies, you can also do so via your browser settings. Please note that the webshop may then function less effectively, for example, because your shopping cart will no longer be remembered.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- to view your data;
- to have incorrect data corrected;
- to have your data deleted, to the extent that we are not legally required to retain it;
- to restrict the processing;
- to object to processing on the grounds of a legitimate interest;
- to receive or have your data transferred in a common file format;
- to withdraw given consent.
Send your request to info@burgonderdelen.nl. We will respond within a month. To prevent us from forwarding information to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm your request from the email address associated with the order.
Are you not satisfied with how we handle your data? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you that have legal consequences or significantly affect you based on automated processing. Responses generated using AI are always first read and sent by an employee. If you consent to marketing cookies, Google may show you our advertisements on other websites based on your visit. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Changes
We may amend this privacy policy. The most recent version is always available on this page. If a change affects data we already hold about you, we will let you know.
